Knight, Willis O’Brien, Marcel Delgado, Ray Harryhausen, Jim Danforth, Frank Frazetta, Roy Krenkel, Steve Ditko, Russ Manning, FAMOUS MONSTERS OF FILMLAND, Basil Gogos, fantasy, sci-fi, robots, robot fighters, robots that transform into dinosaurs and gorillas, BEAST WARS, robots and donuts, quality baked goods, aliens, barbarians, Halloween, masks, superheroes . . . the list goes on and on! If you’re familiar with these names that’s fantastic. But if you aren’t, then you’re in for a treat. And there is so much more to the dinoverse that I guarantee you haven’t seen.

We cover current and out of print picture books, wordless books board books, consumable books such as activity books and coloring books, oversize books, easy chapter books, children’s fiction, children’s graphic novels, non-fiction, fiction, art books, art instruction books, encyclopedias, comic books and more. We are not purists, so King Kong, Godzilla and Turok can take their place alongside a scholarly volume devoted to T-Rex.

In addition to book reviews, we cover movies; and feature interviews with writers, artists, publishers, actors, and other creatives; retrospectives; product reviews; giveaways and more.

Our favorite children’s librarian, Miss Jane, will serve up book reviews, recommendations, age-appropriate reading lists and bibliographies for book lovers of all ages.

JP Movie Review: “65” starring Adam Driver

Premise/setup: Sixty-five million years ago, human beings exist and are living on one or more planets somewhere in space.

Adam Driver is a spacecraft pilot for hire who has an opportunity to pilot a ship to another planet with “cargo” consisting of human beings who are in suspended animation until they reach their destination. By agreeing to take this job, Driver’s character will be away from his wife and young daughter for a lengthy period of time, but the pay is excellent, and Driver will stay in touch with his family with messages and video chats.
