My Walmart Life: MRS. BUTTERWORTH'S CINNABON BAKERY INSPIRED PANCAKE SYRUP
I was a fool! Every experienced Walmart shopper knows that if you see something new on the shelf you pounce. You don’t say, “well, I’ll come back in a few days and get it . . . “ You know exactly how this story ends, don’t you?
I went back to buy Mrs. Butterworth’s Cinnabon syrup and her epic Cinnabon pancake mix and there was no Cinnabon pancake mix!! There was s’mores pancake mix, which looks amazing, but that was not exactly what I wanted. Oh well. There’s always tomorrow . . .
With that sad bit of business out of the way, let’s dish.
For this taste test we paired Sara Lee’s Artesano Brioche bread, Country Crock Plant Butter and that intriguing Mrs. Butterworth’s Cinnabon syrup! And coffee. Lot’s of Dunkin coffee.
I have to say Mrs. Butterworth has done it! This syrup captures the flavors of cinnamon and the creamy icing that make Cinnabon’s confections so popular. I found it delish. Miss Jane complained it was too sweet. Why did I even ask???
If you are a fan of Cinnabon I think you’ll love this. Children will eat this up, literally and figuratively. Walmart has it at a great price. Go get some!! And make it snappy. They could be sold out!
Coming Soon: Pretzilla burger buns with Angus burgers!
